History Hidden in Plain Sight

Please accept this invitation to join the Toledo History Museum in welcoming local author and history story teller Tedd Long, September 22, for this free presentation at the Main Branch of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library, at 6:00 p.m.

In this lively presentation based on his forthcoming book, The Toledo Files: 101 Mysteries, Secrets, and Stories of the Glass City, Tedd investigates the questions, legends, and curious details hiding behind Toledo’s familiar places. Drawing on old newspapers, photographs, maps, public records, and firsthand accounts, he separates fact from folklore and opens the files on forgotten buildings, remarkable people, unsolved mysteries, and stories almost too strange to be true.

You’ll discover a Toledo beneath the streets, behind locked museum doors, inside an illegal casino, and hidden in plain sight. After opening The Toledo Files, you may never look at the Glass City quite the same way again.
